A Samsung today launched the new cell phones Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52 5G e Galaxy A72 in the international market. The idea is to bring desired features of high-end smartphones to intermediate and less expensive options. The manufacturer highlights improvements in camera technology and the possibility of internet 5G. The suggested prices are between 349 and 449 euros in the old continent, which is between R $ 2,345 and R $ 3,020.

For now it is not known when the devices arrive in Brazil or for how much. Usually the South Korean giant does not usually take more than two months between ads abroad and sales in the country. All models run Android 11 with the established interface One UI 3.1.

Then came the Galaxy A51 and now it’s the Galaxy A52’s turn to show up. Both this model and the other products presented today draw attention by the refined design, where the camera module is not as pronounced in relation to the rest of the rear.

The screen is 6.5 inches, with the right panel Super AMOLED and resolution Full HD+. The company has been making good displays for years, so here there will be no surprise if consumers again have a good user experience.

There are occasional differences between the Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy A52 5G. The first offers a refresh rate of 90 Hz, while the second jumps to 120 Hz. Either option is interesting because it translates into greater graphic fluidity when using the smartphone.

The photography part is the same. The South Koreans are keen to highlight the main camera with 64 MP and OIS type image stabilizer. This means that the user can run with the phone in hand, as the device is able to compensate for the movement so that it is not a shaky recording.

At the rear there is also a 12 MP ultra wide camera, interesting for capturing wide landscapes or several friends in the same photo – something that is not recommended under the current circumstances, but we hope that this will change soon. Another change is in the camera. Instead of a depth sensor, the successor to the Galaxy A71 brings an 8 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. In practice, the consumer will be able to make more professional portraits of whoever he wants. This sensor has OIS type stabilization.

One of Samsung’s bosses, Woceol Chai said in a note that the A series is the first Galaxy smartphone for many consumers. Powerful camera – via software

The manufacturer is also betting heavily on the software used to operate the set of cameras. THE product manager Renato Citrini, from Samsung in Brazil, detailed five technologies that are present in the new equipment.

- Night Mode. It adds several images in sequence in order to deliver a brighter result, even if it is dark.
- Tetra Binning. Joins four pixels in one so that the result is better in low light conditions. It’s automatic. The user does not need to turn on or off.
- Scene optimization. There are 30 possibilities embedded in the artificial intelligence of Samsung’s camera.
- Extraction of video frame. It is as if the user took a photo directly from a frame of a video recorded with the Galaxy A. The S21 can do the magic in 8K videos. In the case of today’s models, this is an 8 MP image from a 4K video.
- Fun Mode. Import some of the most popular Snapchat filters and place them directly on the phone’s camera, without having to open the social network. Samsung has not clarified whether, in the future, it will be possible to see the same type of integration with Instagram or TikTok.
