Launching Samsung Galaxy S24 series There’s only a month left but leaks of specifications and features continue to emerge. The latest news reveals the camera specifications that each Galaxy S24 model will carry.
South Korean media The Elec reported Galaxy S24 Ultra It will be equipped with four rear cameras consisting of a 200 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultrawide camera, a 50 MP telephoto camera with 5x zoom, and a 10 MP telephoto camera with 10x zoom.
The 200 MP camera will use a sensor from Samsung, while the ultrawide camera will be supplied by Namuga and Sunny Optical. Samsung and Sunny Optical will also provide 10x and 5x zoom cameras. The 12 MP front camera will use sensors from Namuga and MCNEX.
This latest news indicates that Samsung will not remove the 10x zoom capability on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, in contrast to previous leaks which claimed 10x zoom would be removed. But the information from The Elec contradicts the leak from tipster Tech_Reve.
In his tweet on Twitter/X, Tech_Reve claimed Galaxy S24 Ultra will carry a 200 MP main camera, 12 MP ultrawide camera, 50 MP telephoto camera with 5x zoom, and 10 MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom.
In a separate leak, tipster Ahmed Qwaider claims the Galaxy S24 Ultra will support 8K video recording with 5x optical zoom. Currently the Galaxy S23 Ultra can record 8K 30fps video but only supports digital xoom.
Ahmed Qwaider’s leak also says that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will offer portrait mode with 5x zoom. This cellphone is also rumored to have an improved stabilization feature in daylight and low light conditions, as well as an AI Object Aware Engine that can be used on the front and rear cameras, as quoted from SamMobile, Wednesday (13/12/2023).
Meanwhile, Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ called The Elec will be equipped with a 50 MP main camera, 12 MP ultrawide camera and 10 MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom. The specifications are still the same as the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+.
Of course, all this information is just a leak that has not been confirmed by Samsung. Let’s wait for the official announcement at the launch of the Galaxy S24 series which will reportedly be held in mid-January 2024.
