Samsung Galaxy A25 5G: A New Affordable Smartphone for the Lower Middle Class

The Korean giant is reportedly preparing a new smartphone for the lower middle class
It should follow on from its predecessor, but the main difference will probably only be 5G
When it will be presented and whether it will also reach the Czech Republic is not yet clear

The South Korean company Samsung has a fairly wide portfolio of smartphones that try to satisfy the needs of as many customers as possible. Nevertheless, especially in the lower segments of the market, Koreans have a problem attracting an affordable phone that would burn out the competition and become a real hit for all those who do not want to spend unnecessarily much money on a smartphone. They are obviously aware of this in Seoul, and according to the latest leaked images, they are working on a fix.

Will it only be the Galaxy A24 with 5G support?

It will most likely bear the name Galaxy A25 5G and will follow on from its predecessor Galaxy A24, which did not reach the Czech Republic through official channels and was introduced only in May of this year. Despite all its advantages, it had one major handicap, namely the lack of support for fifth generation networks, without which modern smart phones cannot do without and have a much more difficult position on the market. Speculations therefore arose that the images of the Galaxy A25 5G, which were shown by the well-known leaker Onleaks, were originally intended as a 5G variant of the current model.

However, launching a new 5G variant of a device that is several months old is not a hit from a marketing point of view, so Samsung has probably resorted to a new label with which the smartphone should be sold better. From the available technical information, we only know the dimensions of 162 × 77.5 × 8.3 millimeters, and the diagonal of the display stopped at 6.44″. This more or less puts to rest the theory about the 5G variant of the Galaxy A24, as this phone has almost identical dimensions (162.1 x 77.6 x 8.3 millimeters) and the same display size.

In addition to the dimensions, the Galaxy A25 5G should also have a fingerprint reader in the power button, the now obsolete 3.5 mm audio connector for connecting headphones or three cameras on the back. Although the render is shown in black, there will probably be more color combinations available in the spirit of the current models. When will we see a possible presentation and whether Samsung will also sell it in our market is a big question for now.
