There are only 9 days left until this year’s big Samsung event – the Unpacked event, which will be marked by flexible phones. We will see the introduction of the third generation of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, which will now boast a waterproof body and support for the S Pen touch pen. We will also see the premiere of the stylish lid Galaxy Z Flip 3, for which we are looking forward to a larger secondary display (1.9 ″) and also a waterproof construction.
Unfortunately, Samsung did not manage to look after most of the details this year either. Print images and product videos have appeared on the Internet before, but not in very good quality. On a twitter account named @_snoopytech_ however, in recent hours, high-quality print images of all upcoming products have begun to appear. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 was the first to be almost completely unveiled, including high-quality images of all three color variants (Silver, Green and Black).
We also saw the specification of hardware parameters, which you will find in the box below. While the classic selfie camera on the external display will offer a resolution of 10Mpx, the camera on the flexible display will be much more interesting – it will be hidden under the display and will offer a resolution of 4Mpx.

It should also be noted that the sub-display selfie camera on the large flexible display is primarily intended for video communication and not for taking selfies – a classic camera on the external display will be intended for these. After all, taking a selfie photo in an exploded state would not be completely comfortable due to its size; moreover, already contemporary the second generation of Fold can take self-portraits through the main set of cameras, showing the contents of the viewfinder on a smaller screen.
Galaxy Z Fold 3 will also offer a trio of 12Mpx cameras – the main one with OIS, a telephoto lens with double optical zoom (also with OIS) and a wide screen. The outer display will have a diagonal of 6.2 inches, the inner 7.6 inches. In both cases, these will be Dynamic AMOLED panels with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The resolution of both displays will remain the same as in the current generation. The 4400mAh battery will take care of the power supply.
The online broadcast from the Samsung Unpacked event will take place August 11 from 16:00. Leaker also published the expected European prices – the 256GB variant should be sold for 2009 euros (51 thousand CZK), the 512GB variant for 2099 euros (53,500 CZK).
