Jorge Sampaoli and the ANFP agree “to explore a new agreement”. This is stipulated in the brief of the 1st Civil Court of Santiago after the hearing that was held for the lawsuit filed by casildense in which it demands more than $ 3 billion for moral damages. The current Atlético Mineiro coach also claims a link that was made to him with the “unpopular” Sergio Jadue, according to what they say in the lawsuit, brought him problems in his subsequent development as a coach. “The untimely and unfounded presentation of a complaint in which the coaching staff was linked with him, at that date, fled, discredited and unpopular Sergio Jadue Jadue, generated national repercussions, seriously affecting the honor of Messrs. Sampaoli, Beccacece and Desio ( …) ”, says the text.
Another focus of conflict was taxes. “This part of the agreement was not fully complied with by the ANFP, since it only paid part of the taxes drawn, not reimbursing to date most of those taxes, paid directly by Messrs. Sampaoli, Beccacece and Desio, and that the ANFP owed reimburse them ”.
The truth is that yesterday, via zoom, the Head Judge, Isabel Zúñiga, commanded the conciliation hearing that sought to end the conflicts that both have dragged on since the end of 2019. On behalf of the casildense, the lawyers José Jasmén and José Lagos were present , while representing the ANFP was Macarena Franco.
The parties at the beginning of the hearing, at the request of the Court, agreed to explore a new agreement and listen to new proposals that could conclude in a satisfactory agreement. Faced with such a scenario, the new conciliation hearing was set for Thursday September 24 at 12 noon.
