Samantha Fox marries Linda from Hvaler – VG

Linda Olsen, who has been with Samantha Fox for five years, will marry the British ex-glamor model and pop artist, the local newspaper Fredriksstad Blad confirmed.

– We must make certain reservations in these uncertain times. Among other things, it would have been fantastic to be able to get relatives and friends from Norway and Sweden over to the wedding in England, the Hvaler woman who is now in London – tells FB.

The couple, who are already engaged, have postponed the big event for a year already due to the pandemic, according to Olsen.

– Preferably one after the other

– We are both very happy for each other. I do not want to be with anyone else in life, says Samantha Fox the British celebrity magazine OK.

She became engaged to Linda Olsen in February last year – just before both the UK and Norway closed down the following month.

Already in July 2016, Linda Olsen confirmed to VG that she and Fox were in a relationship, but then did not want to comment on the matter further.

It’s been five years since the superstar found love with Linda Olsen – and even more years since Fox came out of the closet as a lesbian.

According to Fredriksstad Blad, Samantha Fox has visited Hvaler a number of times and praised both the atmosphere and the way she has been received in the scenic archipelago.
She is even said to have experienced a real Norwegian May 17 celebration in the area.

18 years ago, in 2003, Fox confirmed that she had found happiness with her then manager Myra Stratton: “People say I’m gay. I do not know what I am… I just know that I am in love with Myra [og at] I want to spend the rest of my life with her, “Fox said at the time.

The couple had twelve years together before Stratton died of cancer i 2015.

No date has yet been set for the wedding. But both are crossing their fingers that it will be in 2021, according to Fox’s statements to the magazine OK.

Linda Olsen clearly states on Facebook that she is satisfied both with the interview in the magazine and with her future spouse.

– My first photo shoot with my Sammy. We are very happy with the interview and photos. My beautiful fiancé, Olsen writes.

In separate beds

In the interview, the fiancés also reveal that it will be a large, traditional wedding with white dresses, bridesmaids and a whole bunch of guests from many countries.

Samantha Fox even says that the bride and groom will not sleep in the same bed the night before the wedding.

In its heyday, Fox was one of the most popular pop artists among Norwegian disco goers, CD buyers and radio listeners. Especially the monster hit “Touch me” from 1986 won.

Linda Olsen, who now works and lives in London, has previously held management jobs in the toy industry, including as a department manager in Toys R Us Norway.

VG has not managed to get a comment on the wedding plans from either Linda Olsen or Samantha Fox.
