Sam Smith recently announced the album To Die For On. The record was supposed to be released in May, but meanwhile the artist has changed his mind. On Instagram Smith writes that the record has been postponed and will be renamed.
“I’ve been thinking a lot over the past few weeks and have come to the conclusion that the title of my album and the release date are no longer appropriate,” Smith writes. “I decided to keep working on the album, make important changes and add things.”
The British artist does not yet know until when the album will be postponed and what name it will bear. “Don’t worry, there will be an album this year, I promise. Until then, I will continue to release new music, which I am really looking forward to.”
Smith wishes all the fans the best in an “incredibly strange time” and thanks them for the support. “I always want to do the right thing for you,” the artist concludes.
Smith released the single earlier this year To Die For from. Last year songs like How Do You Sleep? and Dancing With A Stranger, a duet with Normani.
