Salah Mohsen, a player from Al-Ahly Club loaned to Smouha, confirmed that Mohamed Salah, a Liverpool player, had informed him of the presence of a follow-up from his English team officials during the last period.
Mohsen said in statements on On Time Sports channel, that the conversation with Salah was in one of the former Egyptian national camp camps.
The loaned Al-Ahly player said: “Mohamed Salah spoke to me in one of the team’s camps, and he informed me that a number of Liverpool officials are talking about me very well and want to speak with Al-Ahly officials to include me.”
He added: “At that time, I answered him and told him if you have a role in that, I agree. Al-Ahly is definitely a big club and like any team in Europe, but European professionalism is a dream for me.”
He concluded: “I do not know what happened after that, because everything is definitely a right, but I aspire to play in the English Premier League, which is not a dream, because I am doing what I have to do.”
