Leonardo Araujo, the sporting director of Paris Saint-Germain, confirmed that he considers Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool player, among the best players in the world at the present time.
Leonardo spoke on Canal Plus, denying that there was a problem between Thomas Tochel, the coach of the team and player Kylian Mbappe, before setting an example with a number of the best players in the world to put the French young man among them.
Leonardo said: “I heard some news about Mbappe, which makes me unable to talk about the matter. If a player leaves the field and talks to his coach after that, then this is normal.”
He continued, “Maybe Mbabe may have made a mistake and this is what we will talk about, but to be talked about about him being a spoiled and irresponsible boy, this is not acceptable.”
He added: “Mbappe is a committed player, and he is among the best five players in the world today. Do you know who are the best?”
He explained: “The best are Mbabe, Neymar, Ronaldo, Messi and Salah, the other quadruple, including two who reached the age of 35 years and 32 years, and the other two reached the age of 27, and our player is the youngest of only 21 years.”
He concluded: “I am happy to be a sports director on the team, and we have to take advantage of the opportunity to have Mbappe with us, this is the fun of football, but we have to stop talking about problems.”
