Chairman of the Jakarta E-Prix Organizing Committee (OC) Ahmad Sahroni is grateful Formula E Jakarta breaking the record for the largest number of viewers. From the data he received, the number of viewers of the Formula E Jakarta live broadcast reached tens of millions.
Sahroni received data on the number of viewers of Formula E Jakarta, which was held on June 4, as many as 13.4 million people through live broadcasts on two private television stations. In addition, for the live audience at the Ancol Circuit as many as 60 thousand people.
“Thank God, many eyes in the world have seen Jakarta and Indonesia. This also proves to the world that Indonesia has recovered and is ready to rise. Ready to welcome a future life on par with other developed countries in the world. And ready to hold other international events,” said Sahroni in his statement, Friday (17/6/2022).
Sahroni said the audience data was known from the audience data released by the FIA Formula E as of today. Sahroni said that the number of spectators for Formula E Jakarta made a new history in the electric car racing event.
He highly views that enthusiasm as proof that the Indonesian people love Formula E.
“Of course we are grateful for this result, and these numbers show that the Indonesian people also have a high interest in this electric car event. We will of course use this result as a reference and benchmark for the same event in the future,” said Sahroni.
