The 27-year-old American fighter will take on Pakistan’s Ahmed Mujtaba in a mixed martial arts fight in the lightweight category during the historic event of the ONE Championship on US soil.
The American superstar looks very excited to fight against Mojtaba and achieve a stunning victory that erases the memory of his defeat by knockout in his ONE debut by retired Brazilian Cosmo “Good Boy” Alexander on May 17, 2019 at ONE: Enter the Dragon show.
Despite his absence for four years, the former karate star turned MMA player is looking forward to showing off his new fighting style in his fight against Mujtaba and his future fights as well.
The Texas native commented, “It’s been a long time since I last fought, I know my first fight didn’t go as planned. So obviously I want to get back out there and put in a great performance.” “I would like to be able to finish the match and make the One Championship officials proud of those who signed him,” Sage added.
The fighter, nicknamed “Super”, explained that during his time away from the competition he worked hard, upgrading his old weapons and enhancing them with new skills: “I think I have a lot of potential to keep growing and keep learning. My style is very explosive. Very unconventional and strong type.”

In a battle not without odds, multi-time world youth karate champion Northcutt aims to put on a dazzling display, capping it off by finishing the Pakistani wolf with a knockout of Rahul Raju and Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Abrau Amorim with a masterful submission.
The American feels confident and ready to fight in all circumstances and against the fiercest fighters. But he realizes at the same time that Mojtaba poses a serious threat to him: “He has a lot of talent, and looking at the last two fights, he’s had two goals. So it’s definitely something I keep in mind. But I’m training hard, and I’m trying to make sure I’m ready for all possible scenarios.”
