The incident occurred in Kıvrım Stream, which is used for irrigation of agricultural lands in Aktepe District of Hassa district. Proceeding by walking along the edge of the creek, Hakan Gürbüz (27), allegedly saw 2 people immobile on the water.
Gürbüz, who entered the water and had an intervention, informed the gendarme and health teams when he realized that he had lost his life. Gendarmerie teams, who came to the scene, started work.
During the investigations, another corpse appeared on the water. The body of, the Syrians took refuge in Turkey to escape the civil war Ekrem Hammadi and his sons were identified as Abdullah and Mahmoud. The public prosecutor also came to the scene and examined the bodies.
THE NERVE CRISIS PASSED
Relatives of the family who heard the incident came to Kıvrım Creek. The gendarme teams drove away the group, who shed tears and tried to approach the bodies.
After the examinations, the bodies removed from the water were taken to the Mustafa Kemal University (MKU) Research and Application Hospital for an autopsy. (DHA)
