Rym Renom (Mamans & Célèbres) almost died with his 2nd daughter: “I was very, very scared”, Vincent Queijo confides

Rym Renom almost died with her child: “If our baby had a heart that stopped, the mother too”

Vincent Cheese and Rym Renom had met in The Villa of Broken Hearts 5 on TFX and have always been in a relationship, in love and happy. They are in Moms & Famous, since the lovers have become parents of two children, two adorable girls: Maria-Valentina and Alma. And they confided in Gossip Room : on the delivery of their little Alma which was very complicated, and whose birth almost cost the life of the mother Rym but also of the baby.

“I was very, very afraid of losing my second granddaughter and my wife. Because here we are talking about my life which is turned upside down forever” to explain Vincent Cheese, “Maria needs her mom”. Rym fell ill during her second pregnancy: “I had a disease, it’s called preeclampsia”, “I had a headache, very high blood pressure, my face swelled up a lot… So every 2 days I had to do tests, go to the emergency room, to the gynecologist”. And because of preeclampsia, “if our baby’s heart stopped, so would the mother”.

“With every contraction I had, the baby’s heart grew weaker”

Rym Renom remembers very well her childbirth where she almost died with her second daughter, who was born premature. “The delivery was on a Sunday, we didn’t expect it at all. My blood pressure rose to 15” explained the mother, “I had contractions for 2 days” and “I had very bad kidneys” “I went to the emergency room. Vincent came home to stay with Maria who was with my mother-in-law and an hour later I called her and I said to her: ‘Listen baby I I’m going to the OR right now. They have to do a caesarean section because you can’t actually hear the baby’s heart anymore.’ Every contraction I had, the baby’s heart was getting weaker. And it was just a question hours, a matter of minutes”.

“It was the biggest fear of my life”

Vincent Queijo a précisé: “I remember when the hospital calls me saying: ‘Listen, you have to come right away’. I said: ‘But I have my daughter, I can’t leave her alone'”and “They just tell me that Rym is going to go to the OR urgently. That they are going to take the baby out. So time stopped for 10 minutes because I had to prepare things for Rym, I had to that I prepare things for Maria to go to her grandmother’s”.

“And I did that in 10 minutes not even crying, just tears flowing. Because I experienced what real fear was, real stress” he explained, it was “the greatest fear of my life”. A difficult delivery, with complications, but which ended well for the mother and the baby.
