Ryan Golsing must have enjoyed his first space walk with First Man – the first man on the Moon (our review can be read here) because he will soon be back in the shoes of an astronaut in Project Hail Mary ! Certainly, he will slip into the skin of a character less famous than was Neil Armstrong, but that does not prevent our curiosity from being aroused by this new project. It will be the second film adaptation of a novel by Andy Weir, a handful of years later Alone on Mars, released in 2015. MGM signed a contract with the author and his publishing house, Random House, before the book is published, which will be published next year in the spring.
According to Deadline sources, this is a tale-like novel that tells the story of a lonely astronaut charged with saving the planet, alone aboard his spaceship. The journalist talks about very clever twists and turns, a bit like Alone on Mars. Ryan Gosling will play the main role, and this is rather good news for his fans: the actor has not surveyed the film sets since First Man (in 2008), and it is time that he resumes service! Before that, we will also discover in dark rooms the adaptation of the second novel ofAndy Weir, Artemis, produced by Universal and directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (21 Jump Street, The Lego Movie). In short, only exciting projects for fans of space adventures!
