Russia’s New Missile Attacks on Ukraine: 4 Killed, Dozens Injured

Russia carried out new missile attacks on several targets in Ukraine on Monday morning. At least four people were killed.

The Ukrainian army reports on Telegram that 51 rockets and 8 drones have been fired. The air force was able to neutralize all drones and 18 missiles. In addition, some of the missiles are said to have missed their intended targets.

Russia confirms it has carried out attacks on Ukraine. According to the Russian military, the attacks targeted military and industrial targets.

At least four people were killed in the attacks, the Ukrainian newspaper reported The Kyiv Independent. More than thirty people were injured.

The attacks targeted various parts of Ukraine, both around the front and far behind the front lines. Six explosions occurred in the vicinity of the town of Khmelnytskyi and two people were killed. Khmelnytskyi is located about 270 kilometers southwest of Kyiv.

Kharkiv hit by four rockets

The other fatalities occurred closer to the front. The mayor of Kharkiv says his city has been hit by four rockets. One woman was killed. She was initially rescued from under the rubble of a building. In Kharkiv, a factory building and an educational institute were hit.

A woman was also killed in the town of Kryvyi Rih. According to the mayor, this happened after some houses had been destroyed. He also says a shopping center was hit.
