On May 3, in the afternoon, Russian invaders fired at the center of Kharkov. Because of the shelling, fires broke out – including once again Gorky Park was damaged.
“As a result of enemy shelling, several fires broke out in the central part of the city of Kharkov. Garages, trade facilities, as well as wooden structures of children’s attractions on the territory of the city recreation park were on fire, ”- reported in the press service of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
Fires in the center were extinguished by 40 rescuers and 7 pieces of equipment. It was possible to curb the fire completely at 14:27.

“According to preliminary data, one woman received shrapnel wounds,” the State Emergency Service said.
