Russian President Vladimir Putin vows to increase military strikes in Ukraine

“Ukraine itself is not our enemy, but those who want to achieve strategic defeat are enemies.” Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this on January 1 at a meeting with military personnel at the Vishnevsky hospital.

“We have no desire to fight endlessly, but we are not going to give up our positions either,” the Russian leader emphasized.

According to him, the situation on the battlefield is changing, the enemy is blown away.

“From time immemorial, they have set the task of dealing with Russia, but we, it seems, will deal with them faster,” the Russian President said, adding that we also want to end the conflict, but only on our terms.

In addition, Vladimir Putin emphasized that “what happened in Belgorod is a terrorist attack.”

“Of course, we can hit squares in Kyiv and in any other city, I understand, everything is boiling with me, but what, do we need to hit civilians? No, we are hitting military targets, and that’s what we will do,” Putin emphasized.

“They want to intimidate us and create uncertainty within the country, we will increase strikes, not a single crime against the civilian population will go unpunished,” he said.
