Russian Planes Forced to Make Emergency Landings: Latest Incidents in Air Travel

Today, two Russian planes were forced to make an emergency landing, dialog.ua reports.

The Airbus A319-111 of Rossiya Airlines made an emergency landing on Friday evening. The plane was flying from St. Petersburg with 111 people on board.

This is the second plane in Russia during the 24-hour period that experienced problems during the flight. This morning, the S7 Boeing 737, which was supposed to fly from Novosibirsk to Moscow, returned to Tolmachevo airport due to problems with both engines. Prior to that, nine more Russian airliners encountered incidents during flights. The first such cases this month were recorded on December 1, when an Aeroflot Airbus A321 flying from Kaliningrad to Moscow made an emergency landing in Pulkovo.
