Russian plane destroys 5 Ukrainian ammunition depots

MOSCOW – Air Force Aircraft Russia attack five ammunition depots Ukraine , killing more than 200 nationalists. This was revealed by the spokesman for the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Igor Konashenkov, Saturday (30/4/2022).

“On that day, operational-tactical aircraft of the Russian Air Force attacked two command posts, 9 corporate-level headquarters and a gathering area for manpower and military equipment as well as 5 ammunition and fuel depots,” Konashenkov said.

“More than 200 nationalists and 23 armored vehicles have been destroyed,” he continued, as quoted by the TASS news agency. Konashenkov also said that missile and artillery forces attacked 319 areas where enemy military personnel and equipment were gathered, 12 command posts and two missile/artillery weapons and ammunition depots.

He also explained that nearly 2,700 Ukrainian tanks and other armored vehicles, as well as 2,503 special military motor vehicles had been destroyed since the start of Russia’s special military operations in Ukraine.

“In all, the following targets have been eliminated since the start of special military operations: 2,678 tanks and other combat armored vehicles, as well as 2,503 special military motor vehicles,” the spokesman said.

Konashenkov added that 143 aircraft, 112 helicopters, 660 unmanned aerial vehicles, 279 surface-to-air missile systems, 308 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,196 field artillery guns and mortars had been brought out.

Russian air defense forces have shot down a Ukrainian Su-25 attack plane in the Kherson Region as well as 12 rockets from the Smerch multiple launch rocket system in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Konashenkov said.
