This was revealed on Sunday (25/9/2022) by the Russian Defense Ministry (Kemhan).
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the aircraft intercepted in the Nikolaev region of southern Ukraine was capable of carrying the AGM-88 high-speed anti-radiation missile (HARM) which is used to destroy radar stations at Earth.

The ministry reported that 12 Ukrainian drones were shot down and 21 missiles, mostly from US-supplied HIMARS launchers, were intercepted in the air.
The news comes as Ukraine’s Kherson region and much of neighboring Zaporozhye, both controlled by Russian forces, hold a five-day referendum on joining Russia.

The Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR), which separated from Ukraine after the 2014 coup in Kiev, also voted to join Russia.
A team of RT reporters was attacked in the city of Kherson on Sunday when a Ukrainian missile hit the hotel they were in.
“Journalists were not injured, but two civilians were killed in the attack, including a former member of the Ukrainian parliament,” local officials said.
