This was uncovered on Tuesday (30/8/2022) by the Russian Defense Ministry (Kemhan).
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, officials believe the operation was carried out on the personal orders of President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“The powerful steps of Russian troops destroyed 48 tanks, 46 infantry fighting motor vehicles, 37 other armored fight vehicles, 8 pickups with hefty machine guns and far more than 1,200 Ukrainian troops in one particular day,” the ministry claimed.

The Russian Defense Ministry added that Kiev suffered these losses through the failed offensive that led to Nikolaev, Krivoy Rog and other cities in southern Ukraine.
The ministry went on to say that Moscow forces directed the 128th unit of the Ukrainian Mountain Assault Brigade, which experienced been deployed from western Ukraine to acquire aspect in the procedure.
“Five serving customers of this brigade laid down their arms and surrendered,” the ministry reported.

Russian forces also destroyed “a lot more than 200 militants, such as some 40 overseas mercenaries” and far more than 20 Ukrainian armored units.
