Russia must feel that Europe is ready to defend its values

Russia should feel that Europe at all levels remains ready to defend its values, its unity.

As reported by Ukrinform, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi emphasized this during the traditional video messageinforming about the results of the conversation with the President of Slovenia Natasha Pirc Musar.

“The day is a conversation with the President of Slovenia. The topics are both bilateral and international interaction. Slovenia joined the UN Security Council and is an active participant in processes in European institutions. We discussed our interaction at all levels. Of course, I informed about the situation on the battlefield, about the nature of our needs now. Above all, it is very important to maintain confidence in relations with our partners, in particular in the European Union. I am grateful for the understanding of the situation regarding the macro-finance and the need for continued unchanging support of Ukraine. This is the main signal that the enemy should see. Russia should feel that Europe at all levels remains ready to defend its values, its unity,” Zelensky emphasized.

According to him, Ukraine is interested in quite practical work with our neighbors in the European Union – in everything that strengthens our peoples, our economies, and jobs in our countries.
