“They (occupiers – ed.) are constantly dying in dozens, losing equipment, but still trying to make some kind of wedge, to break through at least a little in this direction,” Gaidai said.

At the same time, the occupiers are constantly randomly shelling the houses of civilians in all settlements – according to the head of the OVA, they want to “make a desert there so that no one resists them” before a full-scale offensive.

The main breakthroughs, according to Gaidai, the Russians will try to implement in the area of Popasnaya, Rubezhnoye, as well as in the area of Severodonetsk – directly from the highway of the temporarily occupied city of Shchastia.

Gaidai stressed that the Russians continue to bring troops and equipment to the Luhansk region and deploy military hospitals. The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sees where, how much and from where the forces are being drawn, and in accordance with this, builds the right defense strategy, he added.
