Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov praised measures developed by his ministry in response to pressure from sanctions against Russiareports TASS.
According to him, the country has “discovered an antidote” to punitive measures.
“The general result, particularly of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, is this we have developed a whole series of measures to respond to this difficult situation. We already have a rough program of action, a program of decisions on how to build the economy, finances. We already have some recipes for working with such restrictions, “Siluanov stressed.
In his words Russia is dealing with sanctions.
“We have already learned to react to the limits we have to live with. We have found an antidote to these sanctions“, stressed the finance minister.
After the countries of the European Union have agreed the eighth package of sanctions against Russia, the value of all trade restrictions amounts to approximately 123 billion euros.
This amount is equal to 40% of the total turnover of goods and services between Moscow and the EU for 2021.
A number of other non-EU countries have also imposed sanctions on Moscow for the invasion of Ukraine.
