In a table published on the message channel Telegram, Russians claim that the Russian Ministry of Defense has “eliminated” six Norwegian volunteer soldiers in Ukraine. The claim has not been verified or confirmed by others.
Further in the tables, Russia claims that 16 Norwegian soldiers arrived in Ukraine. Seven of these are said to have left the country again, while three are still present.
Faktisk.no’s verification service Verifiserbar has tried to follow up on the information, without success.

Russian authorities have published similar tables several times before. Among other things, one was published in June. Also in this table, the Russians claimed that six Norwegians had been killed.
Among other things, they have been in contact with the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), which can neither confirm nor deny the information.
– We know that Norwegian citizens have enlisted in the Ukrainian military and some of them have been in contact with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is not clear from the table where this should have happened, when or who this should concern.
