Russia: Alfousseynou Lam’s remains expected in Dakar on Monday, August 17

A sigh of relief for the family of the late Alfousseynou Lam, named after this Senegalese student who was killed by a train on July 23 in Russia. Indeed, following the appeal launched by his family, the Head of State, Macky Sall, decided to react favorably to the requests of his relatives.

According to information reached Seneweb and obtained from the Senegalese embassy in Russia, the remains of Alfousseynou Lam are expected in Dakar this Monday, August 17 at 6:20 p.m., by the flight of the Turkish airlines company.

This news was well received by Mouhammadou Bâ, president of Agir pour l’Avenir, who has assisted the family since Lam’s death.

The family, as a reminder, requests the opening of an investigation to elucidate the circumstances of this tragic death.

Finally, once in Dakar, the remains of the young student Lam will be sent to his native village, Wassacodé, region of Matam, Department of Matam, commune of Ogo, for burial.
