Very good news for the Houston Rockets who will recover another superstar: Russell Westbrook. Mike D’Antoni has just announced that it “will soon land” and will begin its quarantine period when it arrives during the day. He must observe about two days of quarantine and be tested negative twice at least 24 hours apart.
Mike D’Antoni has no concerns about his physical condition when he resumes training.
“He works and he feels good. If you look at Russell, in his worst day, he’s probably in better shape than any of our players. I think he’s going to come here ready to play. I expect that once he’s cleared he’ll be ready to do 5-on-5s and that sort of thing. ” Antoni
However not sure that he can play Friday’s game against the Raptors as part of the preparation.
“It may be a little early.” Antoni
He will still have a few training sessions and two other preparation games to get back on track.
Note that we do not yet know when Luc Mbah A Moute will arrive in Orlando.
