JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Last year, Daihatsu launched Rocky through the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show (TMS).
This car immediately stole the attention because it became the second car to use the Daihatsu New Global Architecture platform ( DNGA), after New Tanto.
This year, the Daihatsu car that stole the attention, perhaps only Taft. The taft in question is not an SUV that was born in the 1990s, but a kei car that carries a 660 cc turbo engine with CVT transmission.
After that, practically nothing new car that slide. Moreover, a number of international automotive events, places where manufacturers often showcase their newest products, have failed to occur due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Even so, it does not mean that automotive manufacturers are silent. Reporting from Best Car Web, Daihatsu reportedly will soon introduce an MPV model and the new generation Move.
Interestingly, these two cars will carry the Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA) platform, and will be launched in 2021.
Of the two cars, the news of the launch of a new MPV will certainly attract attention. The Daihatsu MPV is reportedly a mass production version of the concept car DN Multisix which was exhibited at the TMS 2017 and GIIAS 2017.

To note, DN Multisix is an MPV that provides three rows of seats with a capacity of six passengers.
It was also stated that the mass production DN Multisix will carry Rocky’s platform. This means that this MPV will have the character or feel of driving like an SUV.
Talking about the kitchen runway, because it carries the same chassis as Rocky, the machines used are automatically identical. Namely the 1KR-VET 1,000 cc 3-cylinder turbo unit that produces 96 tk of power and 140 Nm of torque.
