There are a lot of rumors surrounding the new Nintendo Switch. It looks like the next console won’t be anything revolutionary after all.
A new Nintendo console is expected to be released in 2024. There have been rumors about a Pro version of the Nintendo Switch, like asserts analyst Serkan Toto – Pro really existed, and some developers even worked with devkit.
According to Serkan Totothe next Nintendo Switch will cost $400 and it’s still not a revolution, but rather an improved version of the console (the next iteration of the Switch).
He doesn’t rule out that Nintendo could add bells and whistles, but the new Switch will be similar to the current console. He also admitted that games will become more expensive and Nintendo will no longer sell them for $60, but for $70 – as many do on new generation consoles.
He noted the reason why Nintendo won’t abandon the handheld format anytime soon is because Pokémon exists and the franchise is synonymous with handheld gaming (consoles).
