The album by Rudzinsky and Danish double bassist Kenneth Dah Knudsen will be released on October 22 in collaboration with the German “Double Moon Records” and the Dutch “Challenge Records”.

Knudsen/Rudzinskis Space Big Band the first single “Hades” introduces the theme of the upcoming album. The theme of the 10 compositions is the universe and our knowledge of it, from Galileo to the present SpaceX The flights of Mars, as well as the universe and space in music, to explore with the technical, improvisational and collaborative spirit of modern jazz.

Hades is Rudzinsky’s vision of the formation of planet Earth about 4.6 billion years ago. It also vividly announces the contribution of the Latvian saxophonist’s five compositions to the upcoming album – expressive, melodic, thematically related to the Earth, alongside Knudsen’s rhythmically focused space exploration trips.
