According to a spokesperson for the municipality, information has come in about a threat against the program. The editors then decided not to broadcast live from Leidseplein tonight. Boulevard’s studio has been evacuated.
“Visible and invisible measures are being taken at the studio on Leidseplein,” says the spokesperson. The spokesperson is not yet able to say what information has come in.
It would be a serious threat from the corner of organized crime.

Replay broadcast
A repeat of last Wednesday’s broadcast will be broadcast tonight, when an ode was paid to Peter R. de Vries. The crime reporter was shot at close range Tuesday night as he walked from the studio to the parking garage. De Vries was seriously injured and transported to hospital. His condition is still critical.
“We are now in consultation about how things will continue tomorrow,” RTL says. “Safety comes first.”
