HOUSTON (AP) – Terry Rozier scored 25 points, Devonte ‘Graham added 21 and the Charlotte Hornets thrashed the Houston Rockets 122-97 on Wednesday night.
The Rockets were very soon back on the track of defeat. Just Monday, they had snapped a 20-trip streak, the worst since Philadelphia set a record 28 consecutive lost games between the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.
Charlotte had not won in Houston since December 22, 2004. It thus cut a 15-game losing streak at this venue.
The Hornets continued to make adjustments to their rotation, in their second game without LaMelo Ball. The rookie broke a wrist and would miss the rest of the season.
Graham started at point guard and hit six of nine 3-pointers.
