Atlanta (APA / Reuters) – Daniel Royer and the New York Red Bulls are facing the end of the semi-finals in the North American professional soccer league MLS. The New Yorkers lost the first leg at Atlanta United 0: 3 (0: 1) in the final series of the Eastern Conference on Sunday. Royer was in action until the 71st minute.
In front of 70,000 spectators at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Josef Martinez, who had set a new MLS record in the regular season with 31 goals, put the hosts in the lead in the 32nd minute. Franco Escobar (71st) and Hector Villalba (95th) gave them a clear lead before the second leg on Thursday. In the final of the Western Conference, the Portland Timbres and Sporting Kansas City separated goalless in the first leg.
