Rouen rapper’s first album Rilès has just been certified gold

Despite concert cancellations, Welcome to the Jungle, the debut album by Rouen rapper Rilès, has just been certified gold with over 50,000 copies sold.

If the Covid-19 has already canceled passages from Riles in several festivals, all is not bad in this period of confinement for the rapper from Rouen ((Seine-Maritime). After its first international successes, his first album, Welcome to the jungle, has just been certified gold disc. The National Syndicate of the Sonographic Edition SNES) – which awards the certifications of albums and singles – indicated that the Norman’s album, released on August 30, 2019, had exceeded the symbolic bar of 50,000 copies sold on Monday 4 May 2020.

No tour on the horizon

While in Rouen for his tour called “The Tiger Tour” on November 7, the singer had done the show in the Norman capital. A homecoming which he presented at the time as “the best date of [sa] tour ”. He had notably played several of the titles of his first album, Thank God and Marijuana.

If there are no tours on the horizon for the rapper, this good news nevertheless complements the other successes of his young career. Something to console the cancellation of Solidays or Garorock.
