Rouen. Medical student found dead in his parents’ home, intubated and on a drip

A medical student was discovered dead at his parents, with whom he lived, this Thursday in Bihorel near Rouen (Seine-Maritime).

Oddly enough, the 24-year-old’s body was intubated, on a drip and with a urinary catheter. He was wearing a charlotte on his head and surgical equipment was discovered near the body, reports Paris Normandy. An unplugged artificial respirator and two cell phones connected to batteries were also found.

It was the mother of the sixth-grader who discovered the body. Returned an hour earlier, she had worried that she would not hear any noise while her son was in the house. She claims to have never seen the medical equipment found before.

An investigation has been opened.
