Rossi is leaving Vasco da Gama. Without space with coach Ramón Díaz, the striker must reinforce Santos and has even informed Cruzmaltino’s top management about his decision to leave the club.
Rossi arrived at Vasco in August last year and helped the team remain in Series A of the Brazilian Championship. However, this year, he has not been performing as regularly. The 30-year-old right winger played nine games in 2024 and started just three.

The elimination in the semifinals of the Campeonato Carioca affected Vasco. In addition to Rossi, other players from the current squad also lost space and could leave the club before the start of the Brazilian Championship.
Vasco’s squad continues working towards its debut in Série A. Cruzmaltino hosts Grêmio, in São Januário, on April 13th or 14th.
