Cristiano Ronaldo is far from thinking of an end to his national team career. As the English ‘Sun’ reports, the superstar even wants to take part in the 2026 World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the USA. At the start of the tournament he would be 41 years old.

For Ronaldo, the World Cup would be the sixth in five years. To qualify for the next World Cup in Qatar, the 2016 European champions are still missing one victory. Should the 36-year-old still compete in 2026, he would be the sole record participant in the World Cup.
