Rousseau (Dominica): Indian captain Rohit Sharma achieved another milestone in the Test. The Indian captain crossed the milestone of 3500 runs in his Test career. Rohit also became the second batsman in the world to reach 3500 runs in all formats of cricket. Indian player Virat Kohli is the first player in history to achieve this feat. Rohit is also the 20th Indian player to complete 3500 runs in Tests.

Rohit reached this achievement in the first innings of the first cricket test against the West Indies. Rohit faced 221 balls in the match and scored 103 runs including 10 fours and two sixes. Rohit reached this achievement from 51 Tests. Among the current players, only Virat Kohli (8,479), Cheteshwar Pujara (7,195) and Ajinkya Rahane (5,066) are ahead of Rohit in the run chase.

Rohit, who debuted for India in 2007, played his first Test in 2013. Rohit was not a regular in the Test team until he was later promoted to opener in 2019.
