Rodez Aveyron Football goalkeeper Lionel Mpasi was the victim of racist remarks from a Toulouse FC supporter, during a match between the two Ligue 2 teams on Monday, December 13, explained Toulouse FC in a press release .

The Toulouse club, indicates the president of the club Damien Comolli, addressed “his excuses” with the targeted player. “The club strongly condemns these actions and any form of discrimination. The identification of the individual in question is in progress, and the club will initiate all the necessary legal procedures”, concludes the press release from Toulouse FC.

Rodez coach Laurent Peyrelade also reacted after the match: “This stadium is magnificent, with this public, it is even more beautiful.
