And we’re off, the first name of Rock Werchter 2024 is finally a fact. It is no big surprise that Foo Fighters are traveling to Werchter. The festival director, Herman Schueremans, already escaped a mysterious hint during an interview last summer. So now it’s official: Foo Fighters are coming to Rock Werchter 2024. The American band will play on 7 July on the sacred meadow of Werchter.

New album
The new album was released last summer But Here We Are to be on the shelves. This LP was dedicated to their former drummer Taylor Hawkins and Grohl’s mother, Virginia Grohl. Although they have been touring in America for a while, Europe had to make do with an exclusive show at Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park. On top of that, the band also announced an entire American tour, which ensured that a big line could be drawn through festivals such as Lowlands, Pukkelpop and Sziget. Fortunately, that is now changing and we will see the gentlemen again at Rock Werchter next summer.
