METALLICA’s album “Ride The Lightning” inspired the artist Felipe Mora to create a series of oil paintings, which he is now selling as a print collection for the benefit of children’s cancer charities in Colombia.
Mora already painted a picture collection for the METALLICA record “Kill ‘Em All”. About the follow-up “Ride The Lightning” the artist said: “” Ride The Lightning “was one of my favorite albums when I was growing up. I closed my eyes and imagined visualizations while I was watching ‘Creeping Death’ or ‘Trapped Under Ice ‘heard – it’s great to pick up a brush and let these visions take shape. It’s almost cathartic! “
