GUNS N ‘ROSES guitarist Slash is confident that new material will be released in the coming year.
The GUNS N ‘ROSES six-string reports in an interview with Cleveland.comthat he doesn’t just SLASH FEAT with his other band. MYLES KENNEDY AND THE CONSPIRATORS, but is also working on new songs with GNR bassist Duff McKagan:
“We’ve been doing the first pre-production for a week and we’ve got 20 songs, and we’re going to start again next year. I spent a lot of time writing that stuff and doing demos. And before that, Duff and I have a little bit together jammed and also worked on the GUNS N ‘ROSES record (…) so a lot has happened. I’m really not good at just slowing down and just sitting around. ”
When asked when to expect new GNR material, Slash replied: “I would think we’d be releasing new stuff in the coming year – from both camps (GNR and SLASH FEAT. MYLES KENNEDY AND THE CONSPIRATORS), I guess It’s hard to say, but I would think we’ll release something next year, yes. ”
