The Sphinx now sits on the town hall square of Saint-Etienne. Disappeared a few days ago, the legendary player and coach of ASSE has already been honored by his club which renamed its training center in its name, and which has planned to install a statue in his effigy near the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium. Today, it is the city that wanted to pay him a final tribute by displaying a large tarp with its image on the facade of the town hall, with a simple message: “Thank you Robert Herbin”. A nice gesture that is sure to be noticed by Stéphanois.
