Robbery in Rouillac: the presumed perpetrators identified

Barely 24 hours after the incident, the gendarmes managed to identify the two men who robbed a father, an amateur researcher of precious metals.

The robbery took place at dawn on Monday, March 22. Two hooded men had swooped down on an inhabitant of the place called Loret in Rouillac. This father of three children had been taken out of the cabin of his Clio by his attackers. They had seized, among other things, identity papers, cash and gold in the possession of this amateur researcher of precious metals.

The sequence of events remains unclear. Our colleagues from CL evoked the fact that the victim had been put in play by the two criminals. At this stage of the investigation, the Angoulême prosecutor’s office is not sure. On the other hand, the noose is tightening around the alleged perpetrators of the robbery. “An external source enabled the gendarmes to identify these two people who are already well known to the police. They have already appeared before the criminal court of the jurisdiction ”, indicates the public prosecutor.

The duty magistrate adds that for the moment “no search notice has been launched” in order to find the duo of robbers. “We have good hope that the investigators locate them quickly”, adds the deputy prosecutor.
