Due to the heavy snowfall and the many falls of trees and large branches, several axes still closed on Saturday evening will remain so for a few days, according to the road management of the European community of Alsace.
In the Colmar region, these are the D11 between Turckheim and Trois-Epis, the D13 between Sundhoffen and Colmar, the RD 208 between Widensolen and the RD 415, and the D416 between Ribeauvillé and Sainte-Marie-aux -Mines (between RD 11 and RD 11 III).

Further south, the rise of Markstein (RD27 and RD430), that of the Grand Ballon (D431), the D18 bis between Soultzmatt and Osenbach, or the D47 between Rummersheim and Munchhouse are concerned. Generally in wooded areas, there are a lot of trees or branches left on the roadways.
Traffic remains delicate on the region’s road network, mainly on the secondary network. In Colmar, special vigilance is required on the side of the Place de la Gare, where the road was very slippery this Saturday.
All interventions combined, but very often to clear roads, trees, large branches, ice or pieces of roof threatening to fall, the firefighters intervened 74 times in the region of Colmar and 24 times in the center of Haut-Rhin, in the space of 24 hours between Friday 6 p.m. and Saturday at the same time.
