With Road America, INDYCAR has a third event in as many weekends. After an oval, then an urban circuit, it’s time for a road circuit. Not just any, Road America. Located midway between the cities of Plymouth and Elkhart Lake, the 4,014-mile Wisconsin road course is attached to the city of Plymouth and is one of the most famous across the Atlantic.
This route hosted INDYCAR from 1982 to 2007 in what was then the CART, then since 2016, to the delight of fans of the American single-seater, who insisted on its return to the calendar.
