It is the fifth day in a row that the occupancy rate in hospitals (nursing wards and IC together) has decreased. 149 new corona patients have been admitted to the hospital’s nursing wards, reports the National Coordination Center for Patient Distribution (LCPS). That is 99 new recordings less than yesterday.
36 new patients were admitted to intensive care, almost all of them transferred from the nursing wards. That is one new recording less than yesterday.
In total there are now 2,295 people with corona in hospital (yesterday: 2384), of whom 598 in the ICU (yesterday: 602). So more patients were discharged from hospital than admitted.
It is the fifth day in a row that hospital occupancy has fallen.
