In summer, the Latvian National Museum of Art organizes a creative lesson for the youngest art lovers – “Brīnum_zem_es”. It will focus on Rihards Zariņš’s artistic heritage and visual art techniques, especially graphics and its presence not only in works of art, but also in our daily lives. The exhibition will study the types of lines, their combinations, as well as Rihards Zariņš’s favorite motifs.
At the end of the lesson will focus on practical graphic design activity, which is related to one of the most special tasks of applied graphics. The lesson is intended as a family activity with all active involvement.
The cycle of classes “Brīnum_zem_es” is designed for the youngest visitors of the art museum (3–13 years). In the classes, pre-school and primary school groups go on an interactive adventure, at the same time gaining an insight into the life of the museum and the current exhibition.
The class will take place in the Large Exhibition Hall of the Latvian National Museum of Art on July 28 at 11.00, prior registration is required.
