Ridwan Kamil Meets the Elementary School Teacher Who Found Eril’s Body

Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil meet Geraldine Beldi, an elementary school teacher who found her son’s body Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz aka Eril on the Aare River to say thank you.

He uploaded the meeting on his Instagram account. In the upload, Emil said the chronology of how Geraldine was able to find Eril’s body

He said, while walking to the place of teaching, the teacher accidentally found Eril’s body.

After that, Geraldine immediately reported to the police. For Beldi’s services, Ridwan Kamil then asked his team in Bern, Switzerland to find the teacher.

“Find the teacher please,” was my directive to the team in Bern. “I have an obligation to say thank you, before returning to my homeland,” he said as quoted from the Instagram account, Friday (10/6).

Finally, the effort paid off. Ridwan Kamil managed to meet the teacher after he taught and then immediately thanked him.

In addition to thanking Geraldine, Ridwan Kamil also gave a message that the Master wanted to go on vacation to Indonesia to contact him.

“Mrs. Geraldine, if you want to go on vacation to Indonesia, please let me know. Later, I will take care of everything as our gratitude,” he said.

Eril’s body, which had been drifting in the Aare River since a few days ago, was finally found on Thursday (9/6) yesterday.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Switzerland, Muliaman Hadad, said that Eril’s body would be departed from the country tomorrow, Saturday (11/6) morning local time.

“Tomorrow Saturday, depart from Switzerland in the morning local time and arrive Sunday morning Jakarta time,” Muliaman told CNNIndonesia.com, Friday (10/6).

After arriving in Indonesia, Eril’s body is planned to be buried in the family cemetery in the Cimaung area, Bandung Regency, West Java
