The general public has known Richard Benson, musician and TV personality, thanks to the cameo in the film by Carlo Verdone «Cursed the day I met you» in 1992 (he played the host of the hydrogen Jukebox program), but Benson – who just today, March 10, turns 66 – had already been a well-known face of Lazio’s private broadcasters for some time: at the end of the seventies he conducted on TVA 40 the transmission Internal A staircase 5 and between the early 1980s and mid-1990s he was the protagonist of Eighth note, in which the new recordings of the time were presented (hard rock, heavy metal but also jazz, funk, blues, fusion and Italian rock). He also appeared, as a “metalhead”, a Those of the Night by Renzo Arbore.
